This year, from July 18-21, Las Vegas hosted a Futsal championship where Di Bufala Sport Club’s O35 men’s team emerged as champions. The team displayed impressive skill, grit, and teamwork to claim the title.
Meet the Champions: Geraldo (AKA Preto), Leonardo, Daniel, Renato, Everton, Guilherme, Henrique, and goalkeeper Emerson (AKA Popeye) made up the winning squad. Under the guidance of interim coach Tulio, the team stayed disciplined and determined throughout the tournament.
The Journey: The team kicked off the group stage with a commanding 5-0 victory over City X FA, setting a strong tone for their campaign. Their second match against JH Kelly was a thrilling encounter, finishing in a hard-fought 5-5 draw. They quickly regained momentum, delivering a decisive 7-2 win over Colorado Futsal Academy to move forward in the competition.
In their fourth match, Di Bufala faced a tough challenge against Top Notch. The match ended in a 1-1 draw, but it was enough to secure their place in the finals, where they would face JH Kelly once again.
The Finals: The championship match was a showcase of Di Bufala’s strength and unity. They dominated from start to finish, defeating JH Kelly with an incredible 11-2 scoreline. The team’s chemistry and determination were evident as they executed their game plan to perfection.

Emerson’s outstanding goalkeeping provided a strong foundation, while the relentless efforts of Geraldo, Leonardo, and the entire team ensured success.
